For about a week, my mom has been suffering from sudden hearing loss in one ear. She's been to the doctor, and done everything that they said, but with no improvement. Today she was finally able to get into an ENT, who reported that she may have irreparable damage from a virus. She has another type of treatment to start now. I am praying that it helps. If you are reading, I hope you will join me in that.
