My prayers have been answered

Thank God!

I now have a wonderful clerkship. I am doing meaningful work and have been touched by a group that I had not really thought I was called to serve before. I am working hard, learning a lot, and hopefully doing some good along the way.

Today I have another job interview. It's about 2/3 of the way through June. I wouldn't have imagined it would be this late in the summer and I'd still not have a job. I get frustrated when people, well-meaning I know, ask me about the job search every time I talk with them. I don't think there is anything else I can do to get one, seeing as I'm already offering my time for free. Those same well-meaning people don't understand that I can't just get a regular minimum wage job...that it needs to be related to law. I can't really put burger flipper on my resume. Hopefully, I will have something happy to report this afternoon.
